While a prolific storyteller, Lansdale is no ordinary writer. The Texas native has inspired a generation of suspense writers including Joe Hill, David J. Schow and Christopher Golden who appear in the documentary along with actors Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead, The Last Kids On Earth), James Purefoy (Hap and Leonard, Altered Carbon) and Amber Benson (Buffy The Vampire Slayer).
